My name is Ellie Hanson. I am a Junior at Eastern Oregon University in Partnership with Oregon State University, double majoring in Business Administration and Agricultural Sciences. I graduated from Silverton High School back in 2019.
Following graduation, I was very fortunate and had the remarkable experience of serving Oregon FFA as State Sentinel. After my year of service, I found the OSU partnership program with EOU and have studied in La Grande ever since. I am currently, for a second year, serving as the secretary of the Agriculture Club and as an ambassador for the OSU Agriculture and Natural Resource Program at EOU.
When I look to the future, I want my career to serve and support agriculture and the people who make the industry possible. I am still solidifying how I want to serve this industry. Right now, I am looking to pursue a career in agriculture finance. I look forward to the career and experiences that I will be able to have in the future, thanks to the educational journey I am having right now!
